Gamma UGC case study
Between September and October 2026 I made seven short-form videos for Gamma, the AI deck builder: trivia, storytime and text-on-screen stories about the decks people actually make at work. The top two reached 24K plays each.
The client
Gamma is an AI presentation and deck builder. Category: AI and tech.
The angles
- Friends and Gilmore Girls trivia, answered with a Gamma deck
- office storytime: the coworker who came prepared
- text-on-screen stories: the gen z coworker's 9am deck, a deck called "budget update"
What I made
Transcript
Okay, my Gen Z coworker got a gentle reminder about punctuality after being late by 10 minutes. She responded with a Gamma deck called "on time." Slide one: 200 days, zero late arrivals. Slide two: her first message, average 7:54am, four months straight. Slide three: the exec meeting that ran 45 minutes long just the day before. Final slide: the 10 minutes, reallocated. The gentle reminder stopped completely.

Umm chat. My coworker got called out for logging off at exactly 5pm for the third consecutive day. So she made a Gamma deck, called it "Overtime Audit," and sent it straight to her manager. First slide was a bar chart of every unpaid hour she'd worked in the past quarter. Then a trend line of the after-hours Slack messages she answered on weekends, every single month. Even a heat map calendar showing exactly which weekends had quietly gotten eaten by work emails. Her final slide was a total: every unpaid hour, added up and captioned "here's my invoice." Leadership introduced a no after-hours messaging policy the next morning.

On-screen text: Umm chat. My Gen Z coworker walked into a 9am meeting at 9:13 and got called out. She made a Gamma deck called "9am." It had a screenshot of the location change, announced verbally in a team huddle she was not invited to. A slide showing the huddle had no notes, no recording and no follow-up. A log of the four people who were in the huddle and did not think to forward the information. The final slide said "clock it." Verbal announcements now have a written follow-up within 15 minutes.

On-screen text: Umm chat. My coworker gave her two weeks and her manager immediately offered her a $10k retention bonus. She made a Gamma deck called "budget update." Slide one: her salary. Slide two: every raise she had requested. Slide three: every time they said there was "no room in the budget." Slide four: the $10k retention bonus. Final slide: "so there was room." She quit.
